Medical Front Desk Clerk

JOB DESCRIPTION

Snelling is hiring for a Front Desk Medical Clerk position on behalf of one of our clients in the Huntsville area.
Schedule:
– Monday-Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
– Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM
– On-site, full-time
Starting Pay: $20.00/hour
Location: Huntsville, AL
What You’ll Do:
– Welcome patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor
– Answer and route calls, take detailed messages, and return calls promptly
– Efficiently manage patient and provider schedules
– Accurately post and process payments (in person and by phone)
– Maintain organized records and handle documentation requests
– Ensure all required paperwork is completed before appointments
– Fax, scan, and manage correspondence with accuracy and timeliness
– Keep the front desk operating smoothly in a high-volume environment
– Support staff members as needed to ensure exceptional patient care
– Provide compassionate, professional support to all patients
What We’re Looking For:
– Medical insurance experience required (benefits checks, posting payments, etc.)
– Strong multitasking ability and comfort working in a fast-paced office
– Proficiency with Google Workspace, EMRs, and billing software
– Friendly, positive attitude with a team-first mindset
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Compassion for helping others, particularly those managing mental health needs
