Position Overview
 
Snelling is looking for a results-driven Retail Sales Associate to join our client. This individual will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchasing needs, recommending solutions, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and motivated to achieve sales goals while representing the company with professionalism.
 
Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Greet customers, assess their needs, and assist with product selection.
• Stay knowledgeable about product features and options.
• Process sales transactions through POS system.
• Maintain assigned areas in a clean, organized, and well-stocked condition.
• Proactively engage with customers in-store to drive sales.
• Cross-sell and recommend complementary products.
• Handle returns and exchanges efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Suggest ideas to improve sales, promotions, or merchandising displays.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a retail sales associate, sales representative, or similar role preferred.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management procedures.
• Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused personality.
• Ability to multitask and resolve customer concerns under pressure.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is a plus.
