Experienced Payroll/ADP Specialist (part-time, temp)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Huntsville company needs a highly experienced payroll specialist for a part-time, temp position.  The position is anticipated to be 20 hours/week for 6 months, possibly longer.  $23-25/hr DOE.  After training, this has the potential to become a hybrid position. 
 
Requirements include:

  • Very strong payroll experience, including solid ADP experience
  • Experience with handling multi-state payroll
  • Experience with processing commission payments
  • Hourly and salaried payroll
  • Experience with benefits, enrollment, on-boarding and PTO tracking preferred

 
Duties include:

  • Processing payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including calculating commission payments
  • Updating benefits and enrolling new employees
  • Processing I9s and new hire onboarding
  • Handling PTO and severance payments
  • Troubleshooting any issues and handling any payroll inquiries
