Supply Chain/Purchasing Assistant - Experience Required $18-20/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to continued growth, Madison-area company needs a motivated employee to join its purchasing/supply chain team.  This is a temp to hire opportunity, paying $18-19/hr, depending on relevant experience.  Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm. 
 
Duties include:

  • Assisting with procuring service and/or project parts 
  • Evaluating supplier quotes based on quality, cost, delivery schedule and reliability
  • Establishing relationships with vendors to obtain the best possible price
  • Assisting in inventory control
  • Maintaining records and coordinating with operation teams regarding deliveries and shipment issues

 
Requirements include:

  • Experience or coursework related to supply chain or procurement
  • Excellen computer, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and respond quickly to changes and challenges
