Benefits Specialist


Stable, Huntsville-based company has an immediate opening for a Benefits Coordinator. This is a temp to hire opportunity reporting to the Director of Human Resources. Pay is $15-16/hr, DOE.

Duties of the HR Benefits Coordinator:

  • Enroll employees in company benefit programs, and make any needed changes
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding insurance, 401K, vacation and sick leave
  • Liaison as needed with insurance providers to resolve issues
  • Track coverage timeframes, leave taken, etc.

Requirements of the HR Benefits Coordinator include:

  • At least 1-2 years experience with company benefit programs
  • Very solid understanding of insurance benefits
  • Exceptional detail-orientation and verbal communication skills
  • Solid computer skills
  • Candidates for this position will be background checked and drug tested prior to starting work
